Dome houses are very inexpensive and make an excellent shelter. They require only easily available building materials and do not rely on highly skilled labour.
Currently, we are building a dome house in East Sooke, near Victoria BC as a demonstration project.
We have recently spent one and a half months in Nicaragua training the mothers and their families and neighbours in building the dome houses. Here are a few pictures of the work so far.

The dome house now makes it possible for the ladies to make their chocolates in the summer when it is hot since the dome house in now airconditioned and dehumidified.
